Celebrating the Day of Valor with India’s National Hero!
23rd January denotes the day of courage and valor identifying India’s National Hero, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s birthday. Born in Cuttack, Odisha, his untiring efforts and struggles towards the Indian Freedom Movement have been exceptional. Apart from being a freedom fighter and the leader of the Azad Hind Fauj, Netaji was a gastronome.
He loved simple Bengali cuisine and items included rice, dal (lentils), curd, and bananas. However, his love for sweets encompassed various quintessential Bengali desserts like Sandesh, Pithepuli, Rosogolla, Monohora, Narkel Laru, Barfi, and Chomchom. He was very fond of his Indian beverages, i.e., tea and lemonade as well. So, on this 127th birthday of our beloved National Hero, come and celebrate Netaji and his legacy with some lip-smacking delicacies at the Café Golden Feast with a classic Veg Thali, Curd, Tea, or Coffee.
