So, in this blog, considering the fermented base required for the dosa, we provide you the additional guidance to top of your plain dosa. Required Ingredients
- 2 cups of fermented dosa batter
- 2 finely chopped onions
- 1 cup of grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1 green chilies, finely chopped
- 5 to 6 chopped curry leaves
- 2 tbsp of butter or ghee
- Salt to taste
Method
- Ensure that the batter must be of pourable consistency and at room temperature. Add a pinch of salt to the same.
- Heat a pan and add a tbsp of ghee or butter. Add curry leaves, green chilies and chopped onions to the pan.
- Sauté them until golden brown. Remove from the heat.
- Now on a non-stick or a cast iron pan, with the help of a ladle, pour the batter and spread it in a circular motion. Make sure the spread is evenly spread in a thin circular shape.
- When the dosa starts to appear golden, pour some sauteed onion over it and spread it properly.
- Now spread a generous amount of grated cheese on top. Let the cheese melt.
- Fold the dosa and serve with your preferred chutney and of course some hot and tangy sambar.
